Pusheen’s Place Arrives on Apple Arcade With 100 Cats and Cosy Mini-Games

Pusheen’s Place launched on Apple Arcade on October 1, 2026, bringing over 100 collectable cats, room decorating and playful mini-games to Apple devices.

Pusheen the Cat has made her official video game debut with Pusheen’s Place, a cosy collecting-and-decorating game that launched exclusively on Apple Arcade on October 1, 2026. Developed by Lively, the game brings the internet-famous cartoon character to an interactive world with more than 100 collectable cats, customisable rooms, and a selection of colourful mini-games.

Available on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV, Pusheen’s Place focuses on relaxing activities rather than competitive challenges. Players can collect different versions of Pusheen, decorate their living spaces and complete puzzles to earn rewards. The game is included in Apple’s $6.99 monthly Arcade subscription in the United States and includes no ads or additional in-app purchases.

Pusheen’s First Official Game Focuses on Collecting and Decorating

Pusheen’s Place turns the popular cartoon cat into the centrepiece of a casual collecting experience. Players create rooms, craft decorative items and attract different Pusheen characters to their personalised spaces.

The collection includes more than 100 variations, from familiar characters like Pusheenicorn and Pancake Pusheen to themed designs with different appearances. Cats are divided into Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary categories, giving players a progression system built around expanding their collection.

Room decoration is a major part of the experience. Players can design cosy cabins, colourful cafes and pastel-themed spaces using more than 200 craftable decorations. Different combinations of furniture and decor help attract more characters.

According to Apple’s official announcement, the game is intended to provide a relaxed experience centred on collecting, crafting and interacting with Pusheen’s different personalities.

Three Mini-Games Add Puzzle Challenges

Alongside collecting and decorating, Pusheen’s Place offers several mini-games that provide short activities between room customisation sessions. The launch lineup includes Snack Stack, Parfait Pop and Batch Match.

Snack Stack challenges players to organise colourful cakes with help from Baker Pusheen. Parfait Pop features fruit-themed bubble-popping puzzles, while Batch Match focuses on matching items and clearing obstacles.

These activities offer rewards and progression opportunities that support the game’s larger collecting system. Their simple mechanics support quick sessions, making them particularly suitable for mobile gaming.

The variety also helps keep Pusheen’s Place from becoming an exclusively decorating app. Players can interact with its characters in several ways while working toward unlocking additional rooms and decorative options.

Cosy Presentation Comes With Slower Progression

Pusheen’s Place emphasises a gentle visual style, with pastel colours, rounded characters and detailed decorative objects. The aesthetic closely follows Pusheen’s established identity, making the game immediately recognisable to existing fans.

However, its progression system may not appeal to every player equally. Although mini-games provide opportunities to earn rewards, crafting materials and other resources can be tied to daily activities.

Early App Store feedback has praised the character designs and decorating options while identifying the limited availability of crafting resources as a source of frustration. Some players report that getting more cats and furnishings requires returning over several days.

That structure may suit people who want a brief daily routine, but it could disappoint players who prefer uninterrupted progress through collecting and customisation.

The game’s official App Store listing confirms its collectable rarity categories, extensive decorating options and ongoing plans for additional content.

Apple Arcade Adds Four More Games in October

Pusheen’s Place arrived alongside four additional Apple Arcade releases on October 1, expanding the service’s selection of casual, action and puzzle games.

River City Survivors, developed by Arc System Works, adapts the long-running River City franchise into a wave-based action game featuring more than 20 playable characters. Players fight groups of enemies, collect randomised upgrades and recruit companions during each run.

Terraria+ brings the popular sandbox adventure to Apple Arcade, including the Bigger & Boulder 1.4.5 update. The game supports exploration, crafting, combat and multiplayer sessions with up to eight players through supported connections.

Touchgrind BMX 2+ offers stunt-focused cycling gameplay controlled through touch gestures, while 4 Pics 1 Word+ brings the familiar picture-based word puzzle format to the subscription service.

Together, these additions give Apple Arcade a broader October lineup, with Pusheen’s Place positioned as its most prominent new cosy collecting game.

Pusheen’s Place Price, Devices and Availability

Pusheen’s Place is available through Apple Arcade, which costs $6.99 per month in the United States. Apple offers a one-month trial to eligible new subscribers, while qualifying purchases of new Apple devices may include a longer introductory offer.

The game supports iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV, with controller support on supported devices. Its App Store listing specifies iOS 16 or later for iPhone, iPadOS 16 or later for iPad and macOS 11 or later for Mac.

The current download size is about 831MB, though installation requirements may change with future updates. Apple Arcade also supports Family Sharing for up to six family members under one subscription.

Unlike many mobile collecting games, Pusheen’s Place does not include conventional in-app purchases. Players access it through their Apple Arcade membership rather than buying separate bundles of virtual currency or decorative items.

Why Pusheen’s Place Fits Apple’s Cosy Gaming Strategy

Apple Arcade already offers several established cosy games, including Hello Kitty Island Adventure, Tamagotchi Adventure Kingdom and Cosy Caravan. Pusheen’s Place follows a similar approach, combining recognisable characters with accessible gameplay and ongoing progression.

Its strongest attraction is the Pusheen license. The character already has a recognisable visual identity and an established audience through comics, merchandise, and online communities, giving the game natural appeal beyond traditional mobile-gaming audiences.

The decorating and collecting systems also provide opportunities for future expansion. The developer has indicated it will add more cats, themes, mini-games, and other features, though it has not announced specific release schedules.

The challenge will be maintaining enough variety and rewarding progression to encourage regular play. Its initial combination of short puzzles and daily collecting tasks may appeal to casual players, but the long-term experience will depend on how effectively new content addresses existing limitations.

Final Verdict: A Charming Addition to Apple Arcade

Pusheen’s Place delivers a recognisable character-collecting experience built around attractive visuals, customisable rooms and approachable mini-games. With more than 100 cats and over 200 decorative items, it gives fans plenty to discover without requiring separate in-app purchases.

The main limitation is its deliberately gradual progression. Players looking for a relaxing activity to revisit each day may appreciate that structure. At the same time, players who want to unlock a lot of content in one session may find it restrictive.

For existing Apple Arcade subscribers, Pusheen’s Place is an appealing addition to the service’s growing library of cosy games. It is particularly well suited to Pusheen fans, younger audiences and casual players who enjoy collecting characters and decorating virtual spaces.
